Ibraim Vieira MD is a doctorate student at the Universidade Federal de Sao Paulo (UNIFESP). He is from Brasilia-Brazil and received his medical degree from University of Brasilia (UnB). He completed ophthalmology residency and fellowships in the subspecialties of Cataract and Refractive Surgery at UNIFESP. Currently, as part of his doctorate program in Brazil, he is at Stanford University as a visiting scholar and a member of Dr Charles Yu’s research team in corneal blindness.
